This blog is to keep me motivated to lead a healthy and active lifestyle; it’s a reminder that I should be mindful of my physical self.
I’ve had a lot of big ups and big downs in the last year since I started this blog; things have not slowed down and I’m starting to think that they may not–I will just have to adjust. I’ve recently found myself in the role of partner, step-mommy, and hopeful mother-to-be. My family has become my number one focus in my life and my personal health and well-being has become important than ever, because it’s no longer just about me (which has taken some adjustment).
I did my first fitness competition in October 2012; I plan on competing again in September 2013.
